SMART/Butch Bacani Tennis Camp: A Smashing Success

Over 174 participants joined. Children as young as five years old. Adults as old as above 53. Boys. Girls. Beginners. Intermediate. Advanced. Sally Mae Siso, the 13-year-old phenom, smiled and enjoyed. Mr. Benny Sala, an avid tennis player, smiled and enjoyed.

The SMART/Butch Bacani Tennis Camp started last May 7 and, just last Friday at 4 p.m. at the Cebu Country Club, it finished a smashing success. Children danced, sang and received their certificates. Big boss Danilo “Bong” Mojica II of SMART graced the affair, took video footages of the performances, gave a motivating speech, smiled and enjoyed.

Here are last Friday’s Graduation pictures…

  1. I really have enjoyed viewing the photos on your blog. The more the better, in my opinion. Sounds like the tennis camp was a great success. Have I told you that Mark was once a varsity tennis player in high school? He used to play it a lot but has quit since we moved to Jesup; just can’t seem to find his niche.

  2. Hi Bebot! Yup… the camp was a big success. The children not only learned–but maybe even more important, they had fun! Your husband Mark was a varsity in high school? Wow. Your family is an all-around sports family! Roller-skating, golf, running, tennis… Bilib ko!

  3. Good afternoon. I just want to know if there is a Butch Bacani Summer Tennis Camp this year? Thanks a lot.

  4. I live in Redlands, CA. My son, Brysl, is part of Butch Bacani’s elite team in Manila. I’d like to communicate with Butch to ask questions like the possibility of Brysl competing in California soon. Would you know his email address or contact number? I appreciate any help you can offer. You can mention my son’s name to Butch. I’m sure he knows him well, but Butch and I haven’t met because I’ve been teaching in CA since 2003. Thank you in advance for your help.
