I've been a sports columnist since 1994. First, in The Freeman newspaper under "Tennis Is My Game." Then, starting in 2003, with Sun.Star Cebu under the name "Match Point." Happy reading!

  1. it has very attractive promotion but when i get to drop by, parang wla lng naman, NO CARNIVAL, NO NIGHT MARKET, all those who are selling foods nkakaawa tingnan kasi wla namang mga spectators maxado…for those organizers pls do post the updated time of events “the latest” sana parang ng luluko lng kayo ng mga tao…

  2. Hello Mckoi I understand your concern, the Carnival had last minute problems with their rides as we wanted a guarantee of safety before they operate. They were able to square this away albeit late and are setting up today. They promised to be in operation Friday. The festival opened up with lots of new & exciting sports that havent been seen in Cebu before with lots of curious spectators. We expect the amount of visitors to pick up again this Thursday leading up to the main highlight of the event this May 21. Rest assured we are already documenting how to improve this yearly festival barely on its second year to embark on sports tourism for all of Cebu! The current schedule is here: http://tinyurl.com/6fra8dn

  3. Hmm, idk if there is much ba this year since I havent gone to SRP yet to check out the place since the event started. But rest assured this isnt some kind of a joke, my family and I have been to SRP almost every night just to eat out, chill and watch the different ongoings there sa CSF 2010. Baka naman when you checked it its before the starting date and they’re still preparing pa?

  4. Hi Sirs, I just want to ask regarding the schedule of Motocross? As I cannot find the Motocross in the updated schedule, thanks.

  5. May I ask who are the winners of the photo contest of Cebu Sports Festival and when was the judging? Thanks!
