‘The Filipino Flash’ is ready

From Sun.Star Cebu, this story today: “NONITO “The Filipino Flash” Donaire, the Inter-natinal Boxing Federation and International Boxing Organization flyweight champion, will defend his title against the Mexican Luis Maldonado in 12 rounds of boxing tomorrow at the Foxwoods Casino in Connecticut.

“The General Santos City born Donaire has an 18-1 and 11-KO record while the Maldonado who was said to be the protégé of Erik Morales has an outstanding record of 37-1-1 with 28 KO’s. They will both fight and weigh in at 112 pounds.”
