‘Live’ New York Update from Dr. Mancao…

Dr. Peter Mancao, who’s now in America to run the New York City Marathon, just sent me an e-mail (Sunday dawn, RP time) with the following update: Hi john! greetings from new york new york!!! we just came from the U.N. where we watched the start of the continental airlines friendship run. it was awesome with the different international participants some in their native country costumes/colors.

We brought along a philippine flag w/c attracted two fil-ams who were joining the run. i decided to go back to the condo because at 9am it was still toooooo coooold! didn’t want to risk it. yong is still in new jersey and will be coming over to manhattan tonight. we met at the expo at jacob javitz yesterday where we got our bib and other goodies. the expo was also another awesome experience. rest day today. i did some running in new jersey last wed and thurs. we here mass at st patrick cathedral this afternoon then have dinner with some fil-am md’s here . tomorrow is D-DAY!
