Thanks so much for the post! You&#039;re right... sayang that the original Cebu Megadome project did not push through. As usual, during that time when then-Governor Pablo Garcia showed it to the public, there were a lot of criticisms. But it should have been built. 

Between the CICC and the Megadome, I&#039;m sure Cebu would have had many, many more events and uses for the Megadome (not even just limited to sports).

Agree... I was part of the design team of the now - shelved cebu megadome project.  I would have been very delighted to see it.... It was unlike any other design... Far better than the the CICC. It was a hybrid design of a mall and a sports arena so that it would still be generating revenue even  without an event. If it would have pushed thru... It would have placed cebu in the architectural map.... similar to what beijing accomplished because of their &quot;birds nest&quot; stadium.

I could only now wish that the design may be implemented in the SRP.
